Against All Odds

Q: When should I become a Pro landscape Photographer? A: Not until you have taken my Business Of Nature Photography Workshop. There is a ton of advice out there from “pro” photographers who are actually more like “semi-pro” or “sorta-pro” or “well I think I’m Pro photographers. People like to throw the title around because it sounds exotic. The truth is, unless you have an income stream from a spouse or somewhere else, or are living out the back of your van with zero expenses, the reality of supporting yourself and your family through landscape photography will be challenging. There is a LOT more to know and to consider than simply the ability to capture good photographs. This isn’t American Idol and you’re not going to “get discovered” on social media, blow up and travel the world.
